Project Manager 1 Earthwork and Utilities

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 to direct the administration, coordination, and delivery of earthwork and utility construction projects in collaboration with the Project Superintendent. The role supports client, design-team, subcontractor, safety, schedule, cost, and closeout objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, buyout, subcontract administration, submittals, change management, meetings, pay applications, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, logistics, and legal or risk-management partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement and resource logs, cost forecasts, budgets, and margin analyses.
• Identify schedule, safety, scope, weather, labor, and cost risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Promote an injury-free work environment, investigate incidents, and mentor project personnel on safety expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of construction management experience, including required earthwork and utilities experience.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork on large projects and the ability to prepare accurate estimates.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentations, communication, and Lean construction practices.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
