Project Manager 1- Healthcare

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 in Tampa to direct healthcare construction work or a defined portion of a larger project. The role partners closely with the Project Superintendent and manages project administration, client relationships, subcontractor coordination, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.

Project Details

This position supports healthcare construction projects in the Tampa area, with assignments potentially spanning office and active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preconstruction activities, estimating support, trade scopes, bid packages, buyout, subcontract awards, and risk reviews.
• Manage submittals, procurement information, change requests, owner approvals, project meetings, and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource logs, cost forecasts, budgets, pay applications, and project status reporting.
• Promote an injury-free work environment, address safety incidents, document project decisions, and lead closeout activities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of construction management experience.
• Intermediate MS Office and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, budgeting, profitability management, and Lean practices.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required; willingness to work non-traditional hours and occasional travel or relocation is necessary.
