Project Manager- Advanced Facilities

Job Summary

Lead assigned advanced facilities projects from preconstruction through completion, delivering work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Project scope and level vary by experience, with Step I covering projects up to $20 million and Step II covering projects from $20 million to $50 million.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoffs, contract requirements, budgets, schedules, procurement, and field execution with the Superintendent and project team.
• Manage project plans, resources, safety, quality, cost controls, cash flow, billings, subcontractor payments, and customer relationships.
• Develop and oversee CPM schedules, track changes and delays, manage estimates and change orders, and prepare monthly progress reporting.
• Oversee subcontract and purchase order agreements, project closeout, punch lists, warranty callbacks, and claim prevention and resolution.
• Contribute to business development, including client relationships, proposals, presentations, and negotiations.

Required Experience

• Experience in preconstruction and construction project management.
• Four-year construction-related degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of contract documents, construction materials and equipment, scheduling, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures.
