Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Project Manager to oversee assigned construction projects and coordinate with the Superintendent and project team.

Project Details

Projects are generally valued up to $15 million, or may involve designated scopes within larger complex projects. AP serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety, schedule, quality, contracts, budgets, costs, cash flow, and trade contractor and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate project planning and execution with the Superintendent, owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Review project documents and changes, manage submittals and procurement, and track project logs and closeout requirements.
• Support preconstruction through constructability reviews, risk assessments, scope development, bid reviews, and contract preparation.
• Prepare budgets, cost projections, payment applications, cash flow reports, and project closeout analyses.
• Promote a safe work culture and maintain project quality standards.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 4+ years managing projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management with 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, project management software, value engineering, life-cycle costing, and project financial processes.
• Experience with multiple contract types and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, and ability to meet company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600–$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, tuition assistance, and an employee referral bonus.
