Project Manager

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to direct moderately complex construction projects or portions of larger assignments in Santa Clara. The role manages project operations, administration, safety, financial performance, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities including estimating support, trade coordination, bid packages, buyout, and subcontract awards.
• Manage submittals, procurement, schedules, change requests, pay applications, project documentation, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal resources.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, risks, schedule impacts, quality, and safety performance.
• Lead project meetings and provide reporting on status, costs, profitability, and key decisions.
• Support multiple or moderately complex projects while building relationships with clients and industry partners.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Intermediate knowledge of Lean processes, construction methods, communication, and presentations.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $148,800-$185,999, depending on experience, with eligibility for a target bonus tied to individual and company performance. The position is classified as professional non-union and may include travel or relocation.
