Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in San Antonio to lead construction projects, coordinate project teams, and deliver work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration, technical direction, and project support.
• Develop and implement project safety plans while promoting strong health and safety practices.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, quality, resources, forecasts, and performance reporting.
• Review client objectives and develop value-engineering recommendations.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, and progress payments.
• Enforce contract requirements, manage project risks and opportunities, and support commissioning and closeout.
• For design-build work, coordinate design progress, constructability, quality reviews, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Five to eight years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, contract law, building codes, safety, and quality management.
• Ability to plan and manage project budgets and schedules and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to adopt new technology.
