Project Manager Building Group (Vertical Construction)

Job Summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery and business performance of major vertical construction projects from the greater Seattle area.

Project Details

The building portfolio includes offices, industrial facilities, education and sports venues, hotels, hospitals, transportation terminals, technology facilities, manufacturing sites, retail properties, special-use buildings, and tenant improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery, financial performance, revenue, schedule, risk, claims, and gain objectives.
• Develop client relationships and support growth through service expansion, proposals, estimates, partnerships, and market strategy.
• Coordinate with business development, internal departments, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Track project and market performance using established metrics.
• Work overtime, weekends, and at varying locations as project needs require.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience on large vertical building projects across construction, estimating, design, operations, or development.
• At least 5 years of management experience leading building teams, estimating or preconstruction efforts, or business development.
• Knowledge of engineering standards for vertical building construction and demonstrated client relationship skills.
• Reliable attendance, professional communication, deadline discipline, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Compensation and Benefits
