Project Manager - Building Group (Vertical Construction)

Job Summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale data center project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The role combines project execution, client leadership, financial oversight, and business development.

Project Details

The position supports vertical construction within Kiewit's Building Group, with the immediate assignment based at a data center project. The group delivers office, industrial, education, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, technology, manufacturing, retail, and interior construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project financial performance, revenue delivery, profitability, schedule, risk, opportunities, claims, and overall progress.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, and business development partners.
• Support proposals, estimates, strategic partnerships, market planning, and business development pursuits.
• Coordinate with internal teams to present the company's capabilities and expand client relationships.
• Work safely, meet deadlines, and support overtime or weekend work when project needs require it.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience on large vertical building projects across construction, estimating, design, operations, or development.
• At least 5 years of management experience leading building teams, estimating or preconstruction efforts, or business development initiatives.
• Knowledge of engineering standards applicable to vertical building construction.
• Demonstrated client relationship skills, initiative, and commitment to high-quality performance.
• Regular attendance, professional communication, safe work practices, and the ability to work productively under deadlines.
