Job Summary
Kiewit is hiring a senior Engineering Project Manager for its Power Delivery Engineering team in Itasca, Illinois. This role leads technical teams and manages engineering delivery for utility clients.
Project Details
The team supports transmission, substation, and distribution engineering and design programs for major utilities and power delivery clients across North America.
Responsibilities
- Direct multiple engineering projects, including staffing, schedules, budgets, scope, and delivery requirements.
- Lead engineers and designers while coordinating design partners and maintaining owner relationships.
- Oversee planning, quality management, project controls, risk, change, and man-hour development.
- Conduct project reviews, develop action plans, and mentor design personnel.
Required Experience
- At least 10 years of industry experience with prior project, design, or engineering management responsibility.
- Experience involving engineering, estimating, contracts, client relations, scheduling, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable related experience.
- Professional Engineer license strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project administration software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Reliable attendance, safe work practices, and availability for overtime or weekend work when required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation is $152,000-$160,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
