Project Manager Kiewit Power Delivery Engineering

Job Summary

Kiewit Power Delivery is hiring an Engineering Project Manager in Houston to lead technical execution and client delivery for utility power infrastructure programs.

Project Details

The role supports transmission, substation, and distribution engineering and design projects for utilities and other power delivery clients.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering teams, designers, and consultants across multiple projects.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, work plans, and project budgets.
• Manage quality, project controls, risk, change, contracts, and deliverable schedules.
• Maintain relationships with owners and design partners while mentoring design staff.
• Conduct project reviews and guide corrective action to support successful delivery.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or Engineering Manager with engineering, estimating, contracts, and client-relations responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or comparable related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, scheduling, contracts, multidisciplinary coordination, and project-control software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-development skills.
