Project Details
The role supports mission-critical data center work, including construction activities in live facilities where system reliability and uninterrupted operations are essential. Familiarity with electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and structured cabling is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Manage project execution, financials, schedules, risk mitigation, change management, and closeout.
- Coordinate construction activities, outage planning, phasing, and operational strategies in active facilities.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, documentation, procurement, inspections, audits, and contract compliance.
- Lead preconstruction, constructability reviews, buyout, scope development, value engineering, and subcontract negotiations.
- Coordinate clients, engineers, operations teams, vendors, and internal project staff through meetings and regular communication.
- Use project management tools, virtual design coordination, and Lean construction practices.
- Mentor team members, resolve conflicts, and support performance and organizational development.
Required Experience
- At least five years of construction project management experience.
- Mission-critical data center, industrial, healthcare, or other operational-environment experience is preferred.
- Experience leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others.
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, analytical, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.
- Microsoft Office and Apple device proficiency required; experience with JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, or Asta is preferred.
- Training on company standards will be provided.
