Job Summary

Lead field execution for mission-critical construction projects, maintaining safety, schedule, quality, cost control, and strong coordination among project stakeholders.

Project Details

The role supports mission-critical data center work and may involve operational facilities, industrial environments, healthcare projects, or other active infrastructure. Familiarity with electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and structured cabling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily field operations, site logistics, labor forecasting, scheduling, and self-performed work.
  • Enforce safety requirements and coordinate subcontractors, clients, project teams, and partners.
  • Lead preconstruction and coordination meetings while maintaining alignment on scope and expectations.
  • Track progress, project costs, forecasts, field documentation, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
  • Manage contract, insurance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop team members through coaching, training, mentoring, hiring support, and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate punch lists, as-built documentation, and other closeout activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout construction.

Required Experience

  • At least five years of project construction superintending experience.
  • Successful experience leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring teams.
  • Mission-critical data center, industrial, healthcare, or other operational-environment experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, negotiation, analytical, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Apple devices, and the ability to learn project-specific software.
  • Prolog, JDE, and SureTrack experience is preferred.
