Project Superintendent - Transportation

Job Summary

Lead field and administrative delivery for transportation construction projects, overseeing execution, team coordination, safety, cost, schedule, quality, and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction plans and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Work with the Project Manager on project plans covering scope, procurement, schedule, finances, environmental requirements, quality, safety, and risk.
• Lead coordination meetings, prepare field reports, resolve constructability concerns, and keep project schedules and weekly work plans current.
• Manage field operations, contract compliance, productivity, project profitability, claims, quality, safety, punch lists, and system commissioning.
• Review project documentation and maintain effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Four-year engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Construction project and supervisory experience with similar facilities.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, equipment, engineering, negotiations, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
• Strong communication, organization, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to perform field work while using required personal protective equipment and following safety procedures.
