Safety Manager - Bluvera Manufacturing

Job Summary

Lead safety programs across multiple manufacturing and construction project sites, supporting project teams and safety professionals through Mortenson’s Zero Injury program. The role is onsite in the Fort Worth, Texas or St. Paul, Minnesota area.

Project Details

The position supports multiple industrial and construction sites, with emphasis on electrical safety, hazard controls, subcontractor activities, and work planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct implementation of site safety programs across multiple projects.
• Develop electrical safety procedures and coordinate training, orientations, and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Review safety submittals and participate in subcontractor preconstruction and preparatory meetings.
• Mentor safety engineers, coordinators, and other safety personnel.
• Track safety, injury, hazard, and OSHA data; conduct trend analysis and work-area audits.
• Support major incident investigations and monitor subcontractor safety performance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, or an equivalent field, plus at least six years of construction safety experience; alternatively, a high school diploma with CHST, OSHA 500, and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least six years in a dedicated construction or manufacturing safety role managing safety programs, hazard analyses, controls, training, and work planning.
• CSP certification is preferred.
• Electrical and arc-flash knowledge, a current driver’s license, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 100% are required or preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $100,100-$150,500 per year, with eligibility for an incentive plan.
