Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking a Scaffold Superintendent to supervise field operations for its Water Facilities South district. This leadership role directs foremen and craft personnel while coordinating work execution, scheduling, costs, quality, and stakeholder relationships.

Project Details

Kiewit Water Facilities South delivers water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination projects across North America. The position is based in and around Texas and requires travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor foremen, craft workers, and junior superintendents.
• Plan work methods, assignments, completion activities, and project turnover.
• Manage subcontractor coordination, contract administration, client meetings, change orders, and issue resolution.
• Review labor rates, job cost updates, cash flow projections, and field records.
• Maintain client relationships and support safe, productive jobsite operations.
• Complete employee evaluations and recommend staffing, policy, promotion, or organizational changes.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 3 or more years in a superintendent or leadership role.
• Infrastructure experience with roads, bridges, dams, water treatment, or wastewater treatment projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiation, planning, contract administration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn company processes and software, resolve field problems, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance, professional teamwork, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying site conditions are required.
