Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Mechanical Superintendent to lead field operations for advanced industrial and manufacturing construction projects in Social Circle, Georgia. This role oversees safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, staffing, and project execution from mobilization through closeout.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. The position supports moderately complex stand-alone projects or major portions of larger programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, field supervisors, suppliers, and project workflows.
• Develop and manage work plans, schedules, site logistics, staffing, materials, equipment, and self-perform operations.
• Lead daily standups, trade meetings, owner-architect-contractor meetings, project reviews, and change coordination.
• Promote an injury-free workplace, investigate incidents, and maintain project safety and quality standards.
• Track project documentation, reports, costs, productivity, schedule impacts, and closeout activities.
• Identify project risks, resolve field issues, support procurement and buyout processes, and cultivate client relationships.
• Recruit talent and promote diversity and inclusion across the project team.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trades, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, budgeting, and scheduling capabilities.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in hot or cold conditions and non-traditional hours.
