Job Summary
JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 to direct moderately complex construction projects or assigned portions of larger projects in Beaverton. The role oversees project operations, administration, financial performance, scheduling, safety, and coordination with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, preconstruction support, procurement, buyout, subcontract administration, and submittal management.
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field staff, and internal company resources.
- Manage schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, project risks, change requests, pay applications, reporting, and closeout activities.
- Promote an injury-free work environment, investigate incidents, and support safety training.
- Lead project and owner-architect-contractor meetings while documenting decisions affecting cost, schedule, quality, legal matters, and safety.
- Support estimating from conceptual design through GMP development and help maximize project financial results.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 7 years of construction management experience.
- Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project administration, budgeting, scheduling, accounting, and construction technology.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Lean process skills, with advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
- Ability to present effectively, collaborate across teams, and work accurately under project deadlines.
Work Environment
- Work may occur at project sites or in the office and may include non-traditional hours.
- Travel and/or relocation may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions.
