Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Minneapolis office. The role supports construction operations through contract administration, technical coordination, project controls, and field quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys to support progress reporting, change management, and contract tracking.
• Administer subcontracted scopes, including defining work, responding to inquiries, monitoring progress, and managing contract documents.
• Support project start-up, review subcontractor submittals, and coordinate design documentation across disciplines.
• Assist with design-team inspections, identify installation deficiencies, and participate in systems commissioning sign-offs.
• Recognize potential risks and complete additional project duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 4–6 years of construction experience in an operational role.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, methods, drawings, specifications, HSE, quality, materials, and applicable standards.
• Ability to apply engineering and problem-solving principles, develop comprehensive schedules, and administer subcontracts.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, multitasking, and technology skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
