Senior Project Engineer - Industrial - Traveling

Job Summary

Sundt is seeking a traveling Senior Project Engineer to support industrial construction projects. The role calls for advanced construction engineering knowledge and experience coordinating project information, teams, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement schedules, materials, equipment, submittals, and project schedule integration.
• Support project budgeting, cost controls, change orders, contract administration, and claims prevention.
• Maintain as-built records, project logs, meeting documentation, and closeout materials.
• Coordinate and develop project team members, including potentially supervising or training Field Engineers.
• Contribute to quantity takeoffs and, when needed, concrete form design and equipment selection.

Required Experience

• Four-year construction-related degree, equivalent technical training, or related experience.
• At least three to four years of similar construction engineering experience; the Senior level typically reflects more than six years of experience or work on larger or more complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
