Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

The Weitz Company is hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee project administration and field construction, maintain stakeholder relationships, and lead teams toward quality and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, long-lead items, project plans, buyout, and preconstruction coordination.
• Negotiate and administer change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders; monitor budgets, contracts, scope, billings, and project risks.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and design constructability issues.
• Coordinate communication of project safety plans and support staff development and assignments.

Required Experience

• Industry-related college degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• At least five years of construction experience, including project management experience.
• Experience leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others.
• Experience with or ability to learn JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, or Asta; Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual compensation is $165,000-$201,000, with a bonus program, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, company-matched 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and wellness offerings.
