Senior Project Manager (Electrical and Fiber Infrastructure)

Job Summary

Interstates is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical and fiber infrastructure work for mission-critical data center installations at a project site in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Project Details

The role covers data center electrical systems, fiber routing, structured cabling, terminations, testing, and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate field teams and subcontractors to deliver work safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Manage schedules, budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and procurement.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals; maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct site walks, address issues, forecast resource needs, and provide project updates and risk assessments.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6–8 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years leading projects.
• Knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.
