Job Summary

The Christman Company seeks a Project Manager to lead project planning, coordination, and delivery for large-scale commercial construction work in its Raleigh region.

The role supports large-scale commercial construction projects in the Raleigh region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate owners, architects, trade partners, vendors, and consultants on scope, schedule, cost, risk, and changes.
• Develop project work plans, staffing needs, schedules, bid packages, and subcontract scopes.
• Manage bid reviews, project documentation, change orders, and planning services.
• Set project-specific expectations for safety, quality, labor relations, reporting, and client service.
• Maintain client relationships and lead trade contractor coordination through the warranty period.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction experience in a progressively responsible leadership role.
• Training or coursework in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Basic Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
