Senior Project Manager I

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Senior Project Manager I to lead one major project or several projects, overseeing execution and developing strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial performance, forecasts, budgets, cost coding, invoices, and owner billings.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, quality, safety, risk, and compliance, and address site issues and change orders.
• Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, while serving as the primary contact for owners and site representatives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of construction management, project management, or related experience; ability to manage multiple large, complex projects.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and relevant web application skills; basic knowledge of construction law and business practices.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $144,300–$216,500, with location-based adjustments in certain markets. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
