Senior Project Manager - TRANSIT

Job Summary

Tutor Perini is seeking a senior project leader to oversee construction of the Purple Line Extension Section 3 Stations project in Los Angeles.

Project Details

This transit infrastructure assignment involves a project valued at $1.4 billion, including station construction and oversight of design, testing, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct project delivery to meet schedule, budget, safety, quality, and performance goals.
• Coordinate with the client, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Represent the company in project meetings and support labor strategy discussions.
• Manage contract financial matters and lead, train, and evaluate project personnel.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 15 years managing transportation infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity.
• At least five years managing a design-build light rail or heavy rail transit project.
• Experience managing construction of cut-and-cover structures.
• California license and registration preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $300,000-$350,000, depending on experience.
