Senior Project Director

Job Summary

Webcor seeks a Senior Project Director to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout and help grow its San Diego business. The role calls for strong local market knowledge and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery, financial performance, schedules, budgets, risks, and opportunities.
• Represent the company with owners, architects, and project teams, and contribute to business development and project pursuits.
• Build and mentor project teams, manage staffing and resources, and uphold site safety policies.
• Lead preconstruction efforts and support estimating, cost control, contract management, and value engineering.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 18 years of diversified construction experience, including at least three years as a Project Director.
• Strong knowledge of and professional network in the San Diego area.
• Experience in public, healthcare, higher education, infrastructure, or civic construction is strongly preferred.
• Broad experience with project lifecycles, cost management, contracts, estimating, preconstruction, and construction technical disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range of $260,000–$290,000, with actual pay determined by skills and experience.
