Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Support delivery of tenant improvement projects by coordinating field and office operations, maintaining safety and quality, and helping keep work on schedule and within budget.

The role focuses on tenant improvement construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, sequencing, and daily project activities.
• Promote jobsite safety and cleanliness, maintain project records, and coordinate permitting documentation and inspections.
• Support schedule and scope changes, cost tracking, logistics, hoisting, and vertical transportation planning.
• Monitor quality, inspections, punch-list completion, and subcontractor work.
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, project and design teams, and mentor junior staff.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of construction or engineering experience, including three years as a Project Engineer or equivalent.
• Strong tenant improvement experience required.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred. LEED AP and/or LEED Green Associate preferred.
• Working knowledge of contracts, cost control, budgeting, design coordination, building systems, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of WinEst, OST, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and project management software is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range is $133,000-$146,000, with final compensation based on skills and experience.
