Senior Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Senior Superintendent to provide field leadership, safety oversight, schedule direction, and construction coordination for projects supported by its South Florida operations.

Project Details

Preferred project background includes high-rise, airport, and hospitality construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, quality, productivity, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, trades, and office teams to resolve conflicts and project risks.
• Drive critical-path scheduling, recovery planning, constructability solutions, and construction methodology decisions.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and support field staff across one or multiple sites.
• Support project execution planning, contract review, cost control, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
• Lead site meetings and help ensure compliance with company policies, environmental requirements, and quality procedures.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or related postsecondary diploma or engineering degree.
• Approximately 15 years of progressive field-supervision experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, scheduling, contracts, cost reports, and labor productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple scopes, resolve conflicts, and address employee-relations issues.
• Experience implementing safety programs and applying safety and environmental requirements.
