Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Atlanta to lead complex or multiple construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating field teams and delivering safe, timely, quality results.

Project Details

This role supports mission-critical construction and requires experience with K-12 projects. The superintendent may oversee multiple project superintendents and coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct site safety, quality, scheduling, production, logistics, and project closeout activities.
• Manage subcontractors, company staff, suppliers, materials, equipment, and site operations.
• Develop and adjust construction plans and schedules with the project management team.
• Lead daily, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Monitor project risks, costs, changes, documentation, and self-perform work.
• Support staffing, recruiting, training, pursuit, business development, and client relationship efforts.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience and 8 years of field supervision experience.
• K-12 construction experience is required; Lean project experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, quality processes, layout, crane flagging, rigging, and labor productivity.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required, with ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as needed.
