Specialties Installer Foreman

Job Summary

Lead specialty carpentry crews performing rough and finish work on construction and alteration projects, coordinating assignments and maintaining Swinerton quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, estimate labor and materials, set crew schedules, and track production.
• Perform journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry and oversee work quality and timely completion.
• Record crew time, maintain operational records, and manage inventories and equipment requests.
• Prepare job hazard analyses, reinforce safe work practices, and coordinate crew training.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors, mentor employees, and address emerging field issues.

Required Experience

• At least two years of experience as a carpenter foreman or in a similar role.
• Current journeyman carpenter license or certificate where required by local jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, tools, materials, safety, and new and remodeling construction methods.
• Basic computer skills and ability to meet the physical demands of carpentry work in varied weather.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly compensation is $37.70-$39.52.
