Sr Project Manager - Heavy Civil/Highway

Job Summary

Lead the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of heavy civil and highway construction projects, coordinating project teams and maintaining strong client and trade-partner relationships.

Project Details

Project assignments may include individual projects valued at $51 million to $100 million or complex and multiple projects totaling $101 million to $199 million.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoff from estimating to field execution, including review of contracts, budgets, schedules, and procurement.
• Work with project superintendents to align construction methods, workforce, equipment, materials, and project schedules.
• Oversee safety, schedule, cost, quality, billing, project reporting, change orders, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, insurance requirements, project closeout, punch lists, and warranty callbacks.
• Support estimating, business development, proposals, client relationships, and contract negotiations.

Required Experience

• Preconstruction experience and a thorough understanding of construction contracts, materials, equipment, scheduling, productivity analysis, operations, and cash flow.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range of $150,000-$220,000, based on experience.
