Superintendent 1 Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 to support electrical construction execution for mission-critical and advanced facilities projects. The role coordinates field operations, subcontractors, materials, schedules, safety, quality, and project documentation while working toward timely and profitable completion.

Project Details

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group delivers mission-critical, industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. This position is based in El Paso, Texas, and may involve travel or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobsite safety, subcontractor coordination, workflow, daily operations, and trade meetings.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, staffing plans, and project documentation with project management.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, self-perform activities, timecard approvals, and cost information.
• Coordinate quality assurance, inspections, project changes, closeout activities, and communications with project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, buyout, project reviews, preplanning, and recruiting efforts.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of construction experience and 1 year of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, crane flagging, rigging, and specific trade scopes.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
