Superintendent 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 in Atlanta to oversee moderately complex construction projects or major portions of larger assignments from planning through closeout. The role coordinates field operations, project teams, subcontractors, safety, quality, scheduling, and production.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, company staff, suppliers, site logistics, work planning, and daily project workflow.
• Manage project schedules, materials, equipment, documentation, reports, meetings, and field communications.
• Lead safety, quality assurance, risk management, schedule coordination, and cost-related activities.
• Coordinate project changes, procurement, staffing, buyout, closeout, and owner, architect, and authority interactions.
• Support project pursuits, reviews, preplanning, negotiations, and development of project solutions.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience, including 3 years in field supervision.
• Intermediate ability with construction methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, documentation, and project controls.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project conditions require.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred.
