Superintendent 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to manage fairly complex construction projects or major project scopes in the Atlanta area. This role coordinates field operations, people, materials, safety, quality, schedule, and project documentation from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, workflow, and site logistics.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, cost tracking, reports, logs, and project documentation.
• Lead safety, quality, daily coordination, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Manage materials, equipment, self-perform activities, staffing, timecard approvals, and procurement support.
• Monitor project risks, changes, production, budget impacts, quality compliance, and closeout activities.
• Support project pursuits, buyout, change negotiations, preconstruction planning, and talent recruitment.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project management systems, accounting software, scheduling tools, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, rigging, and labor productivity.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, scheduling, software, budget management, collaboration, and construction documentation skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours when project needs require.
