Superintendent 2 - Commercial Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to lead commercial construction work with responsibility for field execution, project coordination, safety, quality, schedule, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company personnel, site logistics, materials, equipment, and workflow.
• Manage project safety, quality, scheduling, documentation, cost tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Lead daily coordination, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, reports, logs, and project records.
• Coordinate procurement, staffing, self-perform activities, inspections, punch work, and closeout.
• Support project pursuits, buyout, change negotiations, and collaboration with project management and field leadership.
• Promote an injury-free, inclusive workplace and help identify and recruit strong team members.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, scheduling, accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, rigging, and trade scopes.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, budgeting, scheduling, and project management skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
