Superintendent 2, Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to lead electrical field operations and coordinate project execution for mission-critical construction work in Atlanta. This role manages project delivery from planning through closeout while supporting safety, quality, schedule, cost, and team objectives.

Project Details

The position supports fairly complex, stand-alone mission-critical electrical projects or major portions of larger projects, with responsibility for field production, subcontractor coordination, materials, equipment, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, company staff, suppliers, workflow, and site logistics.
• Manage project safety, quality, scheduling, production, staffing, and field risks.
• Develop subcontractor and self-perform work plans and coordinate material and equipment needs.
• Lead daily, trade, owner-architect-contractor, and project review meetings.
• Maintain schedules, reports, drawings, logs, inspections, cost information, and timecard approvals.
• Coordinate procurement, project changes, closeout, pre-punch work, and communication with project stakeholders.
• Apply construction technology, scheduling tools, Lean practices, and project management systems to support successful delivery.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management and accounting software, scheduling software, and required construction technology.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, trade scopes, self-perform operations, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project conditions require.
