Superintendent 3

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 3 in Atlanta to lead moderately complex construction projects from planning through closeout. The role manages field teams, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, materials, and project coordination while supporting the company’s collaborative and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution, construction sequencing, site operations, and workflow.
• Lead subcontractors, field supervisors, suppliers, and company personnel.
• Manage safety, quality, scheduling, staffing, materials, equipment, and project documentation.
• Run daily and weekly coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Track project progress, costs, changes, risks, reports, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate with project management on procurement, budgets, schedule impacts, and contract requirements.
• Support pursuit, business development, recruiting, and long-term client relationships.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project management, scheduling, accounting, and construction technology systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, project management and accounting software, scheduling software, and Lean processes preferred.
• Advanced layout, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project needs require.
