Job Summary
PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations and coordinate project delivery from its Denver team. This employee-owned company offers opportunities to oversee construction work while developing teams, managing stakeholders, and supporting safe, efficient execution.
Responsibilities
- Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with project documentation requirements.
- Lead, coach, and mentor project personnel, trade partners, and field teams.
- Coordinate work scopes, productivity, quality, safety, constructability, and schedule performance.
- Develop project execution plans, critical-path schedules, and resource-loaded three-week lookaheads.
- Manage project plans, budgets, forecasts, quality requirements, contracts, and risk mitigation.
- Lead site and client meetings while maintaining productive relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, labor representatives, and internal teams.
- Coordinate field engineers, estimators, subcontractors, and own forces to deliver work in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Required Experience
- Journeyman certificate or related undergraduate or engineering degree.
- NCSO designation required; Gold Seal program enrollment preferred.
- Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce leadership.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, scheduling, productivity, labor cost reports, contracts, and safety and environmental practices.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, solve problems, exercise professional judgment, lead meetings, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal construction operating systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $113,500-$147,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
