Superintendent I & II

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring Superintendents at Level I or II to coordinate field operations, guide construction teams, and deliver strong customer service. Candidates may be considered at either level based on their experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, inspections, schedules, and site logistics.
• Review construction documents, coordinate design plans, and monitor project progress.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and project partners.
• Oversee field safety, quality, risk, and compliance while identifying improvements.

Required Experience

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or 10 years of trade experience.
• Level I requires at least 5 years of construction management or related experience; Level II requires at least 8 years.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and basic knowledge of construction law and business practices.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects from development through closeout.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $111,400–$167,100 for Level I and $130,100–$195,200 for Level II, with higher ranges in certain listed office locations. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
