Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent II to coordinate field operations, supervise project teams, and support strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate materials, equipment, inspections, and project schedules, including three- and six-week look-ahead plans.
  • Review construction documents, resolve design discrepancies, and develop site logistics plans.
  • Lead project meetings and supervise project partners, foremen, and craft crews.
  • Track progress and productivity, oversee safety and quality, and coach team members.

Required Experience

  • At least eight years of construction management or related experience.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant construction or engineering field, or 10 years of trade experience.
  • Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
  • Experience handling complex projects from development through closeout, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range is $130,100-$192,200, with location-based adjustments in certain markets. The role is eligible for an incentive plan. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, retirement matching, paid leave, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.
