Superintendent II

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Superintendent II to lead field coordination, planning, and supervision while supporting strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials, equipment, inspections, and short-term schedules to keep project work on track.
• Review construction documents, resolve design discrepancies, and develop site logistics plans.
• Lead project partners, craft teams, and assistant superintendents; oversee hiring, coaching, training, and performance.
• Track progress and productivity, manage safety and quality, and address risks and site conditions.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of construction management or related experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related construction or engineering field, or 10 years of trade experience.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects through closeout.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range of $130,100-$192,200, with location-based adjustments in certain markets, plus eligibility for an incentive plan. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) match, paid time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and other programs.
