Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 in Social Circle to help plan, coordinate, and deliver industrial and manufacturing construction projects. The role manages field execution, project documentation, workforce coordination, and day-to-day site operations while supporting safe, timely, and profitable completion.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients. This position is part of the Industrial & Manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, quality, workflow, subcontractor coordination, and field staffing.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, site logistics, and material and equipment requirements.
• Run daily and weekly coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Maintain drawings, logs, diaries, reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement, cost tracking, timecard approvals, change management, and closeout activities.
• Oversee self-performed work, labor productivity, quality compliance, and pre-punch completion.
• Support recruiting, project planning, buyout, and contract administration activities.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of construction experience and 1 year of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, trade scopes, self-perform operations, layout, crane flagging, rigging, scheduling, and project controls.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, scheduling, project management, and accounting software skills.
• Ability to apply Lean principles, collaborate with project stakeholders, and work accurately under changing project conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
