Traveling Assistant Superintendent (Advanced Tech)

Job Summary

Support project leadership with field coordination, documentation, safety reporting, subcontractor communication, and day-to-day construction operations in a traveling assistant superintendent role focused on advanced technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Document site progress, workforce activity, weather, and photos in daily construction reports, and maintain cost logs.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plan upcoming work, and address issues that could affect progress.
• Prepare safety and SWMP reports, participate in safety meetings, and verify that required BMPs are in place.
• Review project documents and submittals ahead of scheduled work, and maintain turnover records and punch lists.
• Support the superintendent by taking on field tasks and helping keep project operations organized.

Required Experience

• At least two years of general contractor training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• People and project management ability, strong organization and communication skills, and a safety-focused approach.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project; familiarity with Procore or ability to learn it.
