Traveling Superintendent (Cold Storage)

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking a traveling Superintendent to coordinate field teams and keep cold storage construction work aligned with project plans and owner requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite construction activities and coordinate workers, contractors, subcontractors, and assistant superintendents.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate schedule, change orders, and cost issues with the Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain a three-week schedule, monitor quality deficiencies, and manage project cost logs.
• Promote jobsite safety through pre-task meetings, required notices, reports, and safety documentation.
• Maintain daily reports, records of time and materials, RFIs, project photos, and stormwater plan compliance.
• Coordinate project closeout, including turnover documentation, as-builts, and punch lists.

Required Experience

• At least five years of related general contractor or renovation/tenant improvement experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred; ground-up experience is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project; familiarity with Procore or ability to learn it.
• Strong project and people management, organization, prioritization, communication, and safety leadership skills.
