Assistant Project Manager (Advanced Tech)

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help manage project finances, scope, documentation, procurement, and coordination with project partners.

Responsibilities

• Track contracts, project updates, logs, and changes throughout construction.
• Support procurement and buyout decisions, project scheduling, and timely owner pay applications.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and the superintendent; prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
• Review subcontractor invoices and change orders, monitor scope compliance, and address performance concerns.

Required Experience

• At least two years of related experience is preferred, ideally with a general contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organization, communication, math, reasoning, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project; Procore experience or ability to learn.
