Field Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

The Beck Group is hiring a Field Assistant Superintendent to support safe, coordinated execution of construction work with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications, help coordinate field scopes, and support workforce supervision.
• Assist with schedule development, field layout, engineering, and daily reporting.
• Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and record drawings.
• Monitor workmanship and enforce company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project staff and build familiarity with Lean construction practices and Bluebeam.

Required Experience

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience and a relevant college degree, or relevant field foreman or field engineer experience.
• Basic safety awareness, supervisory experience, and ability to maintain daily reports are valued.
• Understanding of project documents and effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial construction internship experience is preferred. Familiarity with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable tools is a plus.
