Traveling General Superintendent, Advanced Industries (Semiconductor)

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent to lead complex advanced industries construction, with a primary focus on large semiconductor projects. The role oversees project execution, field teams, construction sequencing, safety, quality, schedule, and coordination with project stakeholders.

Project Details

The position supports large semiconductor fabrication projects within JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group, which also delivers data center, industrial, and manufacturing work.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more complex projects from planning through closeout.
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, and project workflow.
• Establish work plans, manage construction sequencing, and coordinate project schedules with project management.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, progress, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, documentation, cost tracking, and field reporting.
• Coordinate staffing, procurement, project changes, closeout activities, and project review presentations.
• Provide leadership across multiple projects and support regional strategic initiatives.

Required Experience

• At least 12 years of construction experience, including 10 or more years in field supervision.
• Experience managing large, complex projects or multiple project teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost management, quality control, layout, rigging, and self-perform operations.
• Intermediate proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software, including Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Large semiconductor fabrication experience and Lean project leadership are preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
