Assistant MEP Superintendent

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant MEP Superintendent to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors and craft workers on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP labor, equipment, schedules, project scopes, and work from setup through closeout.
• Track labor, review timecards and worker qualifications, and support craft hiring, training, orientation, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with schedule updates, equipment and materials coordination, quantity reviews, and daily planning.
• Support site safety activities and oversee quality of self-performed and subcontractor work.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of construction supervision experience and five years of construction management or related experience; mechanical or electrical contractor experience is preferred.
• Electrical circuitry qualification, or ability to qualify through Mortenson.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects through closeout, proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant project applications, and a current driver’s license.
• Completion of or interest in a Master, Journeyman, or Apprentice electrician program is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $95,700–$129,200, with higher ranges for certain listed office locations, and the role is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
