Superintendent II

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent II to oversee field operations and coordinate project teams while supporting strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crews, contractors, materials, equipment, inspections, and schedules.
• Review construction documents, resolve design discrepancies, and manage project and look-ahead schedules.
• Plan site logistics, lead meetings and orientations, and oversee safety, quality, risk, and compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop assistant superintendents, craft foremen, and crews; track productivity and work hours.

Required Experience

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related construction or engineering field, or 10 years of trade experience.
• At least 8 years of construction management or related experience.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of construction law and business practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range is $130,100-$192,200, with location-based adjustments in select markets. The role is eligible for an incentive plan. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, 401(k) matching, paid time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and other programs.
