Superintendent - Traveling

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a traveling Superintendent to coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors, oversee field execution, and keep project work on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Implement project-specific safety procedures and prepare hazard analyses.
• Direct subcontractor work and coordinate with trades, project management, owners, and tenants.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality-control plans.
• Support material procurement and maintain project files and daily records.
• Prepare, conduct, and document required meetings.

Required Experience

• Post-high-school education or equivalent in the construction field.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and guide project personnel.
• Documentation, file-management, and meeting-management skills.
• Teamwork, sound judgment, and the ability to handle jobsite challenges.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and comply with random and post-accident testing.
• Employment eligibility verification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $130,000-$155,000 per year, with the possibility of additional commission and/or incentive compensation.
