Assistant Project Manager - MEP

Job Summary

The Beck Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project leadership across construction planning, procurement, contract administration, risk management, and financial controls.

Project Details

The role seeks experience with mission-critical or large-scale hospitality projects and supports the company’s integrated design and construction delivery approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontract and purchase order administration, change orders, pay applications, and project closeout.
• Work with design teams and trade partners to maintain coordination and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with project budgets, cost management, schedules, and weekly look-ahead planning alongside the Superintendent.
• Support health and safety requirements, develop client and trade relationships, and mentor project engineering staff and interns.

Required Experience

• At least five years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience, including mission-critical or large-scale hospitality work.
• Relevant college degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technology is a plus.
• Strong construction knowledge, communication, organization, problem-solving, and collaborative leadership skills.
